Marginalisation, Exclussion and all the other "Buzz Words" - what do they really mean.
I was not sure to which topic I should post this, but it can always be moved if it is felt that it has ended up in the wrong place. Please note, that this is a personal viewpoint and it does not necessarily represent the feelings of our overall LINKS group. My intention in writing what follows is to just get things going, so anyone?s, additions, subtractions, agreement, disagreement and any other comments are, from me, most welcome. ( Paul )

EXCLUSION: Access costs and public services - mass alphabetization - overcoming of barriers - userfriendly interface
Proposed by Antonio Venti
I think this is the most important topic, because each of us has plenty of issues to propose and things to say. It is obvious that we will not do a list of excluded and rejected, or a "Miracle court" on virtual environment: but we should talk about problems/obstacles in the relation between individual person and machines

EMPLOYMENT: Job opportunities in Information Society - Teleworking
Proposed by Antonio Venti
Discussion about the relation between IS and employment. Teleworking could be interesting to discuss, because we are going to start to use it, in a certain way (i.e. sharing a work place in a televideo-conferencing system)
EDUCATION: Distance Learning - Vocational training systems
Proposed by Antonio Venti
Ideas and suggestions to develop a common methodolory for the Distance Learning. This topic should include issues on relations among study, learning and Information Society
The problems and the prospects regarding or/and of interest for the Disabled people
