Apologies: Bob Kelly, KARE. Opening address Breda Gleeson who welcomed partners and the project participants.The conference delegrates introduced themselves. Brief discussion re-fiinding of transnatiorial projects and all partners agreed to commit themselves to the transnational stand.Contact names for each project were established as follows :
Italians requested that each partner would send a copy of their presentation to each other. Sean O Siochru took the chair. Each project gave a presentation as to what stage they have reached. After each presentation questions were invited from the floor which led to more in depth discussion. After the presentations the partners looked at areas where the transnational aspect could be of benefit to each project. It was agreed that a great deal of flexibility was needed in relation to time and effort due to the diversity of the projects involved. The establisllment of a common website was agreed upon as a transnatiorial product. It was also agreed that the partners should use the Internet as a cheap, speedy and effective form of communication. Communication among partners was discussed and it was agreed that we would all endeavour to communicate more effectively in future using the Internet where possible. The Italian demo of the links website was of great interest to all present. By October meeting in Greece it was agreed that the following would be set in place :

Paul McCulloch will compile a bibliography of systems and technical Greeks and Italians will present examples of teleworking, e.g. conversion ofweb pages in HTML. Greeks requested that Irish and Italians partners would produce short report on state of internet in each country and produce that for October in Crreece. Italians to make a video presentation of the Irish meeting but no deadline has been set. By January 1997, Irish project will produce scenario and dialogue in regard to people with disabilities. The transnational budgets of the three partners were drawn up and agreed upon. |
