Thursday 26th June 1997 Presentation of the progress of each national project The Greek partners presented the progress of their national project. They have established six (6) Information and Support Centres for Repatriated Greeks. The Spanish partners presented the general objectives of the project and the various activities of each Centre. Finally they told us about the specific courses and measures they offer to promote employment to the target group. The Austrian partners presented the progress of the national project, stressing the problems arised due to the uncertain legal situation witch the Bosnian refugees are confronted with at the moment. As the Austrian government is not shure about the extension of the temporary protection of the Bosnian refugees, the refugees do not know if and when they will be repatriated. Therefor they are not motivated at the moment in attanding vocational courses, as they don't know if they will be able to stay in Austria and attend courses. Final Training Model The Greek partners presented the revised Training Model, in which they took into account all the suggestions and remarks which the other partners send to them. They also refered to the problems of a theoretical model and the implementation in practice. Final Employment Model The Greek partners presented the revised Employment Model. This model will have links to the Sensitizing Model regarding the sensitization of employers. Final Enterprising Model The Greek partners presented the revised Enterprising Model. They explained the reasons, why the target group is intersted in entrepreneurship: it is a real alternative to the competition of job-searching on the labour market. The Spanish partners refered to their idea of creating cooperatives of self-employment and explained their problems in this field. Sensitizing Model The Austrian partners gave a detailed presentation of the Sensitizing Model. The model refered to the following subjects:
Evaluation Model and Questionnaires The Spanish partners presented the revised Evaluation Model. Following processes and results will be evaluated by the Spanish partners:
Friday 27th June 1997 First Transnational Evaluation The Spanish partners distributed the draft of the First Evaluation of the Transnationality of the IN.LAN.DER project. The Greek and Austrian partners are asked to read the paper carefully and make suggestions, corrections and remarks and send them to Spain until the end of July. Network via Internet The Greek partners presented the possibilities of the Network via Internet. They established a Web-site of the IN.LAN.DER project with a meeting room, where the partners have access with a password and can communicate with each other. Also a discussion room is installed, where everybody has access and can join the discussion about the projects etc. The transnational brochure will be established in the web-site as well. INTEGRA programme - Transnational Partnership The possibility of a new partnership between the Greek, Austrian and Spanish partners, will be discussed more concretely, at the next meeting in Greece, when the partners know if their national projects are accepted or not. Diffusion Activities The Austrian partners explained that the intention to present the transnational brochure of IN.LAN.DER at the biggest European conference of Anti-Racism in Amsterdam in June, could not be realised, because parts of the brochure were censored by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs. Therefor it was suggested, to write a common letter to the European Commission explaining the matter. A draft was written and approved by all partners. Further diffusion activities were discussed and the spreading of the brochure at the Slovenian conference of UNITED in October was suggested. Meeting of steering group We went through the provisional timetable of the transnational project (different stages of the planned activities and the responsible partners) and agreed on the activities still to be done. Planning of next meeting Next transnational meeting will take place in Greece most probably at the 25th and 26th of September 1997. |
