Accompanying measures |
In addition to the conception and realisation of vocational qualification measures for asylum seekers, refugees, displaced and repatriated persons the transnational project IN.LAN.DER also includes various accompanying measures that show its integrative approach and that should ensure its optimal effectiveness.
These measures refer to the target group as well as to governmental and non-governmental organisations and institutions, which are concerned with problems in integration.
A survey of the accompanying measures:
- Promotion towards the target group:
continuing promotion of the project towards the target group ensures the knowledge about and interest for the courses and their aims. As a counterbalance to that, the demand for measures for integration into the labour market could be envisioned
Social and legal advice:
as further accompanying measures the advice service for the target group was realised. Especially advice in matters of residence law or vocational regulations is a deciding factor of integration.
Development of personality:
the training of social skills should provide competence to refugees, which is - additional to vocational qualification - also important factors for success on the labour market.
Support in the question of job searching:
A part from this the concept of the project includes support in the question of job searching to those, who attend courses. This is possible through co-operation with public institutions for labour exchange.
Public relations work:
the dissemination of the project to media and public institutions is an important measure of awareness raising. With this we want to make sure that apart from xenophobia and lack of understanding concerning the situation of refugees and migrants a new awareness of different solutions for the integration of refugees and migrants is possible.
Communication with other organisations:
the dissemination of the project towards other organisations working in the field of integration aims at the attraction of new ways in integration policy.
With this we expect that differences between the above organisations will follow such new projects for integration.
Communication via Internet:
the Homepage, which provides information about IN.LAN.DER, is an innovative and global way to communicate the project and its objectives (http://www.mitnet.gr/inlander)
