Dissemination Brochure The aims of the transnational project
As a framework for the transnational project the partners formulated general objectives, which should be guaranteed by the realisation of the national projects.
These are mainly:
development and testing of vocational training models in order to improve the job prospects for the target groups,
development of linking between training and employment model,
development of models concerning self-employment in specific fields,
development of an evaluation model,
offers for the development of social and communicative skills,
specific instruction for training measures, as well as
measures to raise public awareness about the integration of refugees, migrants and repatriated persons into the labour market.
The following targets have been set as advised results of the project:
the integration of the target groups into the labour market and into society
the conception and implementation of new strategies in the areas of education and employment with regard to disadvantaged groups, and
raising public awareness
The innovative access to the project «IN.LAN.DER? in the area of integration, by vocational measures and social support, is characterised by different aspects which have been of importance in view of the planning and realisation of the project:
The target group of the project is quite new for employment policy-related and transnationally planned measures: the measures refer only to asylum seekers, refugees, displaced and repatriated persons
Measures aimed to qualify and support the target groups are based on an integrated approach, which includes educational, social and professional aspects
The project is aimed to link educational measures with professional opportunities, and therefore it is strictly orientated towards the requirements and possibilities of the labour market. Through this, it should be guaranteed that asylum seekers, refugees, displaced and repatriated persons who take part in the training have a real chance to get a job within the respective branch
The project has the aim of developing transnationally valid and useable tools, which can also be used for future projects
The exchange of training and educational systems and alternative job models is a further characteristic of the transnational project, that emphasises the need for general solutions as regards the integration of refugees and migrants and enables the necessary exchange of experiences
Finally it is the professed aim of «IN.LAN.DER» to make public the project, its aims and results, and to make it a topic for political discussion. IN.LAN.DER sees itself as transnational pilot scheme, which initiates further measures and seeks to prompt concerted political measures on the European level.
